Hon. Ibekwe, others, extend a warm welcome.
On July 17, 2025, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo toured local markets in Anaocha LGA as part of the "Izu ahia" courtesy call and was joined by the Mayor of Anaocha LGA, Hon. Rome Ibekwe. The markets included Oye Aguluzoigbo, Oye Ichida, Oye Obeledu, and Oye Neni.
A large crowd gathered to greet the Governor during the Izu ahia event, with vendors and small traders enthusiastically welcoming him. Governor Soludo bought food items from market women, who joyfully chanted in appreciation for his presence and their business.
At Oye Neni, Ndi Igwe of Anaocha received Governor Soludo and pledged the communities' support for his re-election, commending him for the significant road projects completed and those currently underway in Anaocha.
The Mayor, Hon. Rome Ibekwe expressed gratitude to the Governor and reassured him of Anaocha's steadfast support in the upcoming November 8th Governorship Election.
