During a gathering with Civil Servants, Councillors, and Supervisors, Hon. Rome Ibekwe, the Mayor of Anaocha, highlighted the significance of punctuality and dedication in their work. He emphasized that regular attendance is essential and should not be compromised, as it is part of the oath taken upon entering their roles as Civil Servants.

The Mayor revealed that a new system would be introduced to monitor daily attendance and identify those who are absent, implementing penalties for individuals who do not come to work without valid reasons.
Hon. Ibekwe also praised Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo for his dedication to the welfare of Civil Servants and encouraged their support for his re-election in the upcoming term. He pointed out the importance of the November 8th election in advancing a "Greater Anaocha" and urged Civil Servants to meet their obligations towards this goal.
The Mayor's initiatives aim to improve service delivery and foster a culture of accountability within the Civil Service Commission.
