On April 12, 2025, Hon. Rome and Pharm. Chidimma celebrated their love in an elaborate wedding ceremony, attended by notable individuals from Anambra State. The event was highlighted by the participation of the Mayors from all 20 local government areas in Anambra, who served as groomsmen.
The ceremony was officiated by Most Rev. Dr. Ernest Obodo, the Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of the Enugu Diocese, alongside distinguished clergymen such as Fr. Prof. Bonaventure Anetoh, Fr. Dr. Ignatius Uzondu, Fr. Francis Efobi, and Fr. Dr. Richard Ekegbo.










Attendees included dignitaries like Dr. Onyekachukwu Gilbert Ibezim, the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo (Onye Ndozi), the Chief of Staff Dr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Chief Barr. J.P.C Anaetoh (Ugodinaobi Aguluzigbo), the Commissioner for Health Dr. Afam Obidike, Commissioner for Finance Dr. Izuchukwu Okafor and Dr. Victor Ike Oye. Traditional rulers were present. Also in attendance, Chief Innoposh Obiekezie, APGA party chairman in Anaocha, Chief Anthony Ugorji, former LG Mayors and party Chairmen in Anaocha. Members representing Anaocha Anaocha 1&2 in the State House of Assembly, other members of the APGA party and local stakeholders from Anaocha, graced the occasion.
The newlyweds expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, including friends, political associates, Age Grade members, local government staff, and members of the Sports Commission and Solution Youth Movement of Nigeria (SYMON), acknowledging the support and kindness they received as overwhelming.
Hon. Rome and Pharm. Chidimma particularly thanked Most Rev. Dr. Ernest Obodo, the clergymen, traditional rulers and all dignitaries who honoured the occasion with their presence, especially the Mayors who participated as groomsmen.
