Hon. Rome Ibekwe, the Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area (LGA), has officially opened a Skills Acquisition Centre at Agulu, Anaocha LGA. This is part of the Greater Anaocha initiative. This initiative aims to equip the youth of Anaocha with various skills to improve their job prospects and aid in the Council Area's development.
The Skills Acquisition Centre will offer training in a variety of areas, including Soap Making, Shoe Making, Yogurt Making, Cosmetology, Bag Making, Granola Making, Fascinator creation, Catering, Solar Energy, Tailoring, Computer Skills, Hairdressing, Make-Up, and Decoration, among others.
It's worth noting that Hon. Ibekwe recently launched a Skill Acquisition Training programme designed to train and empower approximately 500 youths in the Anaocha LGA.
During the inauguration, Hon. Ibekwe expressed his gratitude to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for his supportive initiatives aimed at enhancing the development of Anaocha LGA and Anambra State as a whole.
