A significant gathering took place at the Anaocha Local Government Secretariat at Neni, uniting the Anambra Central Presidents-General and other key stakeholders. The primary aim of the meeting was to devise strategies for ensuring Governor Soludo's strong re-election in the forthcoming elections in their respective towns.
Participants highlighted the Governor's commendable achievements in various developmental areas, such as infrastructure upgrades, healthcare improvements, educational reforms, agricultural advancements, youth empowerment, and enhanced security measures.
The Presidents-General were encouraged to show their leadership by working collaboratively with the Local Government Mayor to promote community development and secure a decisive victory for Governor Soludo in the elections scheduled for November 8, 2025.
Significant accomplishments in Anaocha were underscored, including:
- Enrollment of 1,000 individuals in the State health insurance program.
- Empowerment of 500 youth.
- Installation of solar-powered boreholes.
- Revitalization of the Anaocha Mass transit system.
- Effective management of erosion problems.
- Improved security measures, among other notable projects.
The Presidents-General were asked to partner with the Local Government Mayor to build on these successes and further advance development in their communities.
