~Praises Obeledu philanthropist for their commendable efforts
Continuing his dedication to enhancing agricultural production for the residents of the council area, Hon. Rome Ibekwe, Mayor of Anaocha local government area, visited Obeledu Community on Saturday, April 19, 2024. During this visit, he facilitated the empowerment of selected individuals by providing them with wheelbarrows, piglets, boilers, goats, fertilizer, and feeds, following a successful training program on effectively rearing pigs, boilers, and understanding their economic significance.
In response to the Mayor's ongoing support, the beneficiaries expressed immense gratitude, acknowledging Hon. Ibekwe not only for giving them the chance to learn from experts in animal husbandry but also for financially empowering them to start their own rearing businesses.
In closing, Hon. Ibekwe encouraged them to diligently apply the knowledge gained during the training, as it would significantly enhance their agricultural endeavors and financial independence.
He also inaugurated the Obeledu community security executive and urged them to perform their responsibilities with integrity and a focus on community development.
